Members of the National Bed Federation and their guests raised more than £6,000 for industry charity The Furniture Makers’ Company at the NBF Gala Dinner.

Held during the Bed Show at the Telford International Centre in September, the NBF Gala Dinner raised £2,310 on ticket sale contributions, as well as a further £2,700—plus a further pledge for £1,000—via table collections.

“We’re delighted that our Gala Dinner raised such an amazing amount,” said Jessica Alexander, NBF executive director.

“We’ve worked closely with the charity for a number of years and it is fantastic to know that people are still very willing to put their hands in their pockets and donate money to help the industry’s only dedicated charity.”

The Furniture Makers’ Company is the British furnishing industry’s charity and patron, and supports the education of students by nurturing skills and expertise as well as providing help to those in need.
