International fashion retail giant H&M has chosen the North West of England to pilot its first-ever global Home concession.

The Swedish headquartered retailer—which operates worldwide and has sales of £12.1bn—is opening the concession in the Selfridges department store in Manchester.

Occupying approximately 650sqft, the H&M Home concession will sell a variety of low-ticket homeware spanning soft furnishings like cushions and bedding through to decorative products and glassware.

It is employing 10 staff at the concession, which opens at the Trafford Centre department store on Thursday this week.
