Cabinet furniture firm Forte Furniture is to expand production by constructing new manufacturing facilities for case goods and wood based panels.

The supervisory board of the company—which already operates multiple factories across Poland as well as further sites in Ukraine and Russia—has approved a PLN 600m investment on the expansion plan.

That equates to around €140m, and also includes plans to develop additional warehouse capacity. Work is expected to begin in 2017.

Its latest plan is on top of a previously announced €17m investment programme this year on projects including a new high rack warehouse and building production capacity to 7.5m furniture packs.
