sofastoreThe national rollout of SofaStore — sister brand to Oak Furniture Land — has begun with the fascia to be visible across the entire store estate by Boxing Day.

A national television advertising campaign for SofaStore was launched yesterday, with brand owner JB Global saying the brand will be present across all 57 of its UK store sites over key Christmas trading days.

The launch brings an end to two years of testing sofa sales and formats across the OFL network, which has been rapidly expanding with the launch of around one store a month. Full year 2014 sales are close to £200m.

JB Global has promoted upholstery under the OFL Sofas name and also — more recently — Just Sofas, but is today launching officially as SofaStore with a national rollout across 1m sqft of retail space.

Owner and MD Jason Bannister said: “Our approach at Oak Furniture Land has been very successful, selling quality products at a great price, taking a multichannel approach, allowing customers to get their orders quickly and with free delivery. Now we are applying this to sofas, and I’m excited about the SofaStore launch and our growth plans.”
