International furniture retailer JYSK has expanded into two new territories in partnership with franchisees to take its global footprint to 41 countries.

Franchisee NeatClean JSC has launched the Danish-owned chain in Vietnam, with the opening of a store in the redeveloped Aeon Mall in the capital city of Hanoi, home to seven million people.

There are plans to open 10–20 JYSK showrooms in Vietnam over the next five years.

Separately, JYSK has partnered Fatmir Zymberi—who already runs JYSK franchise stores in Kosovo and Macedonia—for its launch into the Albanian market.

Two stores, both in separate shopping centres in Tirana, will open on Thursday 4th November.

The launches build on earlier expansion into Singapore and Greece this autumn. JYSK is also planning to ramp up expansion of its UK operation (see related).
