Specialist seating supplier Camelot Furniture is planning to diversify its customer base by targeting retailers across the British Isles.

The privately owned fourth generation manufacturer — based at Aizlewood’s Mill in Sheffield — is known for servicing the contract sector with key markets include care homes and hospitals.

Camelot produces mobility furniture including lift and recline chairs with motorised and manual options. It has hired a network of furniture agents — spanning England, Scotland and Northern Ireland — to help it target furniture retail customers.

The company has been trading for 75 years and is estimated to have a low seven-figure turnover.
