Furniture Village is the main sponsor of Big Shots
Clay pigeon shoot Big Shots, the biggest fundraiser in The Furniture Makers Company calendar, generated £24,000 for the industry charity earlier this month.


Around 140 people, making up 35 teams, took part in the 24th annual fundraiser, which was held at the E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Sponsored principally by Furniture Village, the June 6 event also featured novelty stands, including axe throwing, paintballing marksmanship and the classic blunderbuss.

Other companies that supported Big Shots through sponsorship or a donation to the auction and raffle included: Amazing Venues, Cabinet Maker, Celtheath, Colourfast World, Creo, Davy’s of London, CH & Co Venues, J H Haskins & Son, Knoll International, Natuzzi, The Tusler Studio, Peroda Furniture and Vispring.

Charlie Harrison, director of multichannel at Furniture Village and organiser of the event, said: "This has definitely become the social event of the year within our fantastic industry and, with the 25th anniversary next year, we’re looking forward to putting together something special.

The 25th anniversary event of Big Shots will take place on Thursday June 6, 2019.
