Mattress brand Casper wants to have an offline presence in the UK and will consider opening either its own-run showrooms or working with another retailer.

The U.S bed-in-a-box pioneer wants to have physical stores in place by the end of the year, The Express newspaper reported, quoting co-founder Constantin Eis, who heads up its international operation.

Casper launched into the UK market in 2016 after holding a beauty pageant of British foam companies to find a local manufacturing partner. Mr Eis said the business was open to working with another company or operating its own stores. In the U.S, Casper has 18 stores.

Without citing precise numbers, The Express said the brand's UK business was profitable after growing in triple digit percentages since it launched here.
