Lincolnshire sofa maker Lebus Upholstery outperformed the wider market on the way to a sixth straight year of top line growth in 2017.
Year-to-end December sales grew 5.6 percent to £40.7 million for the Scunthorpe based manufacturer, which is 70 percent owned by Dutch furniture maker Tornado.
It means revenue has more than doubled since 2011 (£20.3m) and that the company will have widened its share of the British upholstery market by 20 basis points in 2017.*
Profits declined 9.4 percent to £736,587 last year, with gross margin narrowing on increasing raw material costs, offset by higher selling prices and more efficient production, the company said.
