Two years in the making, Harrison Spinks has opened its new Innovation Centre
Beds and components group Harrison Spinks has opened its new Innovation Centre at its Leeds HQ, the culmination of a two-year project that has seen the group invest £2.5 million.
Housing its development, management, sales and marketing teams, the facility is also home to new showrooms for the Yorkshire group's Somnus and Hybed product lines.
The story of the company and the Spinks family heritage take centre stage in a multimedia timeline in the reception area, along with a nod to the group's vertical integration with one wall featuring an image of Hornington Manor, Harrison Spinks' Yorkshire farmhouse.
Managing director Simon Spinks said: "Staff feedback about the new offices and communal spaces has been really positive and the whole team has been behind the change. We don't just want to reinvent the bed, we want to reinvent the bed factory and more."
The new facility connects the factory, warehouse, testing areas and offices, as well as providing communal spaces for employees.
