An official opening event for The Exchange, the new Long Eaton headquarters for trade association BFM, will be held next month, to coincide with Long Point.

Maggie Throup, MP for Erewash and incoming chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Furniture Industry Group, will attend the September 17 event.

Besides BFM, The Exchange is also a regional office for industry charity The Furniture Makers' Company and the new studio home for Orbital, which provides a range of marketing, design and tech services to the furniture sector.
