Manchester home department store retailer Housing Units has raised another four-figure sum for Kidscan, the children's cancer charity, at its annual golf day.
Over 60 golfers made up of both suppliers and colleagues attended the event, which was won by the retailer's site and security manager, Carl Davidson, who received the Housing Units green jacket.
"We have been hosting our charity golf day for 16 years now and it just gets better every year," said CEO Nick Fox. "We are delighted to have raised over £5,000 for Kidscan and look forward to next year’s event."
Over the past three years Housing Units has raised over £40,000 for Kidscan, a Salford-based charity that funds and manages research into new and improved treatments for children with cancer.
