Furniture aftercare and repair provider FIRA Service Technicians has introduced an online booking service for consumers.


The system — which it says is the first of its type in the market — adds to its online portal for retail and supply clients, which was launched earlier in the year.


It gives consumers the option to go online to book a visit from a FIRA furniture technician, with a link to the system emailed to a customer if the first attempts to get in touch by phone are unsuccessful.


Operations Manager Joe Boyd said: “It provides instant access to technician diaries, enabling customers to log on at their convenience and electronically book an appointment for a technician to visit and inspect or repair their furniture. Alongside this service, we have also carried out improvements to our web portal and case management system.”
