The intellectual property dispute between upholstery retailers Sofaworks and Sofa Workshop may not be resolved until next year, according to court documents.

DFS owned Sofa Workshop has challenged trademark applications made by Sofaworks - the retailer formerly known as CSL (see related).

Assuming the position of both parties remains unchanged, the case will be heard by His Honour Judge Richard Hacon at the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC) next spring.

Documents show the case is scheduled for 29th-30th April 2015, with a judgement expected on 29th June.
