Danish furniture retailer JYSK has reaffirmed its commitment to growing its British retail operation by pumping new funds into the business.
The Scandinavian retailer has added another £3m through a rights issue, taking its investment into its UK arm to £6m in just over a year.
In total, JYSK has invested just under £19m funding its business here. Sales grew 36 per cent to £5.2m in 2012–13 but is likely to have risen sharply since with the value furniture business having expanded its store estate to 11 stores.
