Privately-owned Welsh furniture chain Happy Home Furnishers is to relocate its Swansea store to the city's Phoenix Retail Park.

Sited four miles north of the city centre at Llansamlet, the 12,650sqft. unit is the second largest on the park and located adjacent to beds retailer Dreams.

It keeps store numbers at four for the independent retailer, with the new retail park store to replace its Castle Street store in the city centre.

Happy Home Furnishers' other stores are located at Cardiff, Port Talbot and its flagship 30,000sqft. store at Crosshands. The retailer recently closed at nearby Neath, opting not to renew the lease when it expired.
