Martin Harris’ new floorcoverings chain Tapi has revealed its next two locations, with the business planning to open stores in Cambridge and Gloucester.

Mr Harris — a former Carpetright executive and son of its founder Lord Harris — launched the chain late May at Tooting in London, before rapidly opening two more in Ipswich and Grantham.

Its Cambridge store will be located at the Beehive Centre, and is understood to be in the region of 5,000sqft, while the Gloucester unit is sited on the St.Oswalds Retail Park.

Stores in the Midlands and North are expected to be revealed in the weeks ahead, with Tapi targeting — eventually — a chain of 200 stores across Britain.
